TREKKING:
Trekking is certainly the best way of getting
to know the island. Walk through the paths of
history, far from summer crowds, get to know
the fields, vineyards, oil groves, climb the
highest peak St. Nicholas and enjoy the unique
view. Meet the old settlements and Hvar’s villages,
learn something about the history of the island,
meet the island in its original form! Discover
hidden corners and endless beauty barely visible
to the eye; meet the everyday man who is very
much in the habit of always unselfishly sharing
the little he has with welcomed guests. The
heavenly combination of the sea and mountains,
sunny islands and tame mountain range, will
fill your heart and make you want to visit again.

HIKING:
For all hiking lovers, Croatian mountains are
a real fudge. One of the most beautiful places
for this is certainly St. Nicholas peak, on
628 meters above the sea level, with a view
on Hvar channel, places on the island, beautiful
Hvar’s nature and the island of Brač. Some of
the paths are overgrown, but the best thing
to do is to start the climb from Ivan Dolac,
by arranged path to the top. On the road, you
will meet the “Od Brda” church – the highest
church on the island, and the Gospa od snijega
church, which is placed in the cavern.
Whichever path you choose, you will certainly
enjoy the beauties of the scenery.

DIVING:
The island of Hvar has about 200 bays with beautiful
beaches and rocks, but offer a marvelous underwater
too. Here are some of the well known diving
locations:
- PelegrinCape
Not far from Hvar, there is the Pelegrin bay,
where you can enjoy the search for the sank
ship from the World War Two.
- Pločice
On external side of Pakleni otoci are Pločice
cliffs. You can encircle all the islets and
reveal all the beauties of living underwater,
and maybe even encounter some of the familiar
domestic fish ( two banded bream, grouper and
gilthead).
- KabalCape
On the east side of Kabal, underneath the beacon,
is an interesting tunnel, about 20 meters long.
The part which is around it is rich of flora
and fauna.
The island is in posession of more than one
marvelous diving location. All of them, of course,
depend on divers experience, so we recommend
you the professional assistance which shall
reveal you the most beautiful parts of Croatian
underwater in the best way.
